Call for Manuscripts
Submission Deadline: October 15, 2020
Expected Date of Publication: December 30, 2020
Asian Communication Research (ACR) is now accepting submissions for Vol. 17 No. 3 to be published in December 2020. ACR is an interdisciplinary, peer‐reviewed journal, published in English by the Korean Society for Journalism and Communication Studies since 2004. ACR seeks to offer scholars a dedicated publication that promotes scholarship in the fields of communication studies across a variety of media. We focus on the critical, theoretical, and empirical explorations, within a wide range of disciplines and Asian studies, on issues touching upon any aspect of media and communication. ACR is registered in the Korean Citation Index (KCI). We receive manuscript submissions through the calendar year. For this upcoming December issue publication, all manuscripts must be submitted by October 15, 2020.
We are also inviting authors to propose books that they wish to review. Eligible books for review are those with publication dates since 2015 and appeal to an international readership. Authors should provide a clear account of the major issues dealt with in the book and critically evaluate the book’s contribution to the field.
All submitted manuscripts and book reviews must be original writing. The submission could neither have been published previously nor can any material be drawn from already published work. Submissions to ACR must not be under consideration in any form of publication elsewhere.
